Provide your guests with coffee and tea for less than you think!



If you are thinking of hiring a coffee service for your event then this may just be what you are looking for!

Use the following guidelines to work out if it is right for your event.

The types of event it works best for are sports/matches, product launches, antique fairs, afternoon or evening parties such as birthdays or weddings, halloween, bonfire etc. In fact any social event where there are a group of people for around two to three hours.

It does not work so well if you have a large number of people who need to be served in a very short period of time, for example after dinner coffees at a banquet.

So, how much does it all cost?

I charge an initial booking fee of £50 for venues up to 25 miles from Amble in Northumberland This covers a pre-event site visit to make sure of the access, and agreeing timing and position.

There are two basic ways to proceed.

Firstly, if you want to provide the service free to your guests so they do not have to pay (including refills!) then you simply pay the booking fee plus £1.70 per guest, subject to a minimum of 30 guests.

The second choice is where guests pay for the drinks themselves. Again, this is based on a minimum of 30, but I realise it may be difficult to be accurate. The good news is that I keep a count of the drinks I serve, and for every drink served over 100, I will refund £1 of the booking fee up to the full amount, so the service could end up costing you nothing!

With either of the above choices there is a practical maximum of 180 guests over a three hour period.

Finally I am available for registered charity functions with a minimum of 50 guests, in which case not only is there no booking fee but I will also donate a minimum of10% of my takings to the charity, depending on any 'pitch fee' charged.
